The Open House for the Twin Falls Temple

I was so excited to hear that the Twin Falls Temple would be having their open house while we were there. It started Friday, July 11. The girls were excited to go and see the temple as they have never been to an open house before. Tiffani and Courtney have been in the temple for baptisms but were excited to see the whole temple. It was a great experience and I am so glad that we took the time to drive there. The girls thought it was very pretty and they loved all the rooms and had so many questions. It was great to talk about it with them inside the temple, so that they could feel the peace that you can feel in the temple. The loved the sealing room with all the mirrors and where you can see forever in them.

I hope for all four my daughters to have the joy of marrying in the temple and having that forever family. We talked about how we need to keep ourselves worthy so that they could all go into the temple.

My sister and three of her four daughters.

Afterwards we went to Carino's for lunch. The girl's loved the food and we had a great time. As we were driving out there is the bridge that you cross over to get into and out of Twin Falls. So we stopped and took a look at the lookout. The older girls didn't want to get out of the car, they missed out on the beautiful overview.

Those girls think they were too cool to get out and look at the great view of the valley.

I'm a Ferrari 360 Modena!

You've got it all. Power, passion, precision, and style. You're sensuous, exotic, and temperamental. Sure, you're expensive and high-maintenance, but you're worth it.

Not too many pictures of Tiffani on this trip as she wasn't feeling so hot. I took her to the doctor a few days before leaving to make sure she didn't have strip throat. Come to find out that she had mono. No wonder she kept sleeping so much.

The Fourth of July Activites

We started off the day with a parade that Lori took the kids to, as my feet were really hurting from the barefoot walk the day before. Then we filled up water balloons and had a water fight. It was lots of fun and helped everyone to cool off. The we had a BBQ, played cards and croquet as we waited for the skies to get dark for fireworks. What a fun day hanging out with the family.

Grandpa's rock wall was a huge hit for all of the grandkids. They loved walking across it and climbing on it.
